Department of Civil Aviation (‘DCA’), a government agency under the Ministry of Transport was incorporated into a statutory body known as Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (‘CAAM’). Function of the DCA are currently carried out by the CAAM. The incorporation of the CAAM is in line with the requirement of the ICAO which has called upon contacting states to the Chicago Convention to establish an autonomous civil aviation authority to ensure efficient management of the safety and security of the civil aviation. As a sole civil aviation technical regulator in Malaysia with the primary function to regulate the safety and security of civil aviation, CAAM seeks to ensure efficient management of the safety and security of the civil aviation.
The establishment of the Air Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) is consistent with the Cabinet decision dated 14 December 2011 on the Memorandum of the Minister of Transport No. 1002/2011, which was agreed with regards to the establishment of the AAIB within the Ministry of Transport and is directly responsible to the Minister of Transport. As an independent investigation entity, the AAIB is responsible for the independent safety investigation of all air accidents and incidents occurred in involving both Malaysian and foreign registered civil aircraft. The AAIB also participates in overseas investigation of air accidents and incidents involving Malaysian civil registered aircraft in line with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Convention.
MAvA is the designated institution, a training wing of the Department of Civil Aviation Malaysia for conducting specialized training in its area of expertise generally in Civil Aviation, but specifically in the field of Air Traffic Management (ATM). The main function of MAvA is to provide aviation related trainings to meet national and international needs; both for operational and management personnel. For many years, it has trained air traffic controllers from Malaysia and worldwide.

Port Klang Free Zone or PKFZ is an integrated 1,000-acre Free Commercial and Industrial Zone providing facilities for international cargo distribution and consolidation centre. PKFZ is situated in Port Klang, adjacent to port, the world’s 12th ranked port in 2017 in terms of throughput volume.
Johor Port Authority is also responsible for managing the Tanjung Belungkor Ferry Terminal (TFTB) in Kota Tinggi and Changi Ferry Terminal (TFC) in Singapore. Both terminals have been built to promote tourism activities in Desaru and was commissioned on 8th of September 1993. The first RORO ferry service was carried out by Ferrylink until 8th of April 2002. The RORO ferry services has been discontinued and only scheduled passenger ferry operates between the two terminals. Passenger ferry services are currently provided by Limbungan Maju. While Tanjung Belungkor Ferry Terminal is now managed by Marina Island Venture Capital Sdn. Bhd. Apart from routes to Singapore Changi Ferry Terminal, Tanjung Belungkor Ferry Terminal also provides passenger ferry services to Batam and Tanjung Pinang in Indonesia.
Johor Port, a member of MMC Group is an integrated multi-purpose port facility which is located at the South Eastern tip of Malaysia providing a comprehensive range of port services to meet the individual needs of its customer. Being a Southern Gateway, JPB has operated 5 terminals with 24 berths totalling 4.9 km and covers Containers, Bulk and Breakbulk activities and it is the first port in Johor which is designed as a multi-purpose port that caters cargoes. Being a multi-purpose port, the establishment of JP Logistics (JPL) owned subsidiary of Johor Port was established designed to handle not only the port's internal haulage and storage needs, but also to provide logistics services to caters for clients across the country and into neighboring Singapore and other regional ports.
Westports Malaysia is a leading port in the world supported by superior productivity and water depth of 15-17.5 meter. This makes us the preferred hub port for the shipping lines in this region. Our container volume has grown exponentially over the years and we are the leading terminal operator in Port Klang controlling 75% of the market share in container volume throughput as at end of 2017. We have handled 9.02 million twenty-foot equivalent units (“TEUs”) container throughput and 10.93 million metric tonne of bulk cargo in 2017.

Bintulu Port is an international port which is strategically located in North-East Sarawak along the route between the Far East and Europe. Bintulu Port is the main gateway for export of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Malaysia. Besides, Bintulu Port also offers modern and state-of-the art facilities and equipment for the handling of containers, liquid and dry bulk cargo, and general cargo.

Sabah Ports Authority (SPA) is a state statutory body established in 1968 by the SPA Enactment 1967 which was repealed and replaced by the SPA Enactment 1981. The Authority is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Infrastructure Development, Sabah. Sabah Ports Authority will act as the regulatory authority responsible related to port activities and will ensure the terminal operator who operates the server ports in Sabah with the privatisation agreement fully and set standards plus benchmark for port operations comparable with ports in the region.
